Ricky Trendy Fashion Overload Birthday Party

I had the privilege of being a special invited guests to CT's own celebrity wardrobe stylist Ricky Trendy Da'Vista's annual birthday party.  I was tasked with the challenging job of finding the baddest shoebytch of the night.  It was tough but I was able to narrow it down.

The winner will receive 2 front row VIP tickets to either the 12pm or 8pm showcases for Small Boutique Fashion Week taking place during NYFW on Saturday, Sept. 8th.

The winner (who will need to step forward since I have no idea who you are) can email me at shoebytch@gmail.com. Special thanks to David Hall of DJ H Photography for taking pics for the site and Ricky Trendy Da'Vista for the invite. You can find more photos from the party on the DJH Photography page.

But before I announce the winner let's see all the shoes...I'd love your opinions of who you think think the baddest shoebytch of the night was.

AND THE BADDEST SHOEBYTCH OF THE NIGHT WAS....

The young lady on the right wearing what appears to be peach platforms by Dutch designer Olcay Gulsen.  I spotted both the below shoes almost instantly.  Beautiful bright summer colors, high platforms, and high heel what else can you ask for in a summer shoe.

Both shoes are lovely...but the peach ones take the cake.  You may remember a similar yellow version that was tweeted by Angela Simmons earlier this year.

Miu Miu (The Glitteratti?)

If loving glitter and sparkles was some type of cult it would be called the Glitteratti and Miu Miu would be the front company.  As Miu Miu has shown us time and time again there is NO PLACE glitter can't go including on your Fall 2012 boots!  So why not indulge and add some sparkle to your layered and warm looks this fall?

Features suede upper, elasticized sides, silver glittered sole, exposed zipper at back, 5.5" heels, and 1.5" platform.  Retailed at $875 and available at NET-A-PORTER.

Truth Or Dare by Madonna

I'm sure like me many of you were eagerly anticipating Madonna's shoe collection debut of her line, Truth or Dare.  Mag released teasers from her collection earlier this year in the Spring.  The shoes are now available in Aldo's, Macys, Nordstroms, Zappos.com and ASOS with prices ranging from $89 - $349.

The shoes in the collection are very Madonnaesque with leather, spikes, chains, basically very S&M'y (yeah I know I'm making all sorts of words up in this post).  Madonna says her target consumers are women between the ages of 27 and 50 who love sex appeal.

I personally like the fact that unlike many celebs that turn to fashion she wants to make her clothes line (Material Girl), fragrance (Truth or Dare), and now her shoe line of the same name affordable and widely available to her fans and consumers.

What do you guys think of her collection?  On a sider note the mid-calf boots are giving a strong Giuseppe vibe.
