Fendi Two-Town Platform Ankle Boots

Is it just me or does Fendi do too much with some of their shoes?  I mean I like these two-tone boots I could just do without the gaudy gold Fendi buckle in the front on the platform.  What do you guys think...Boring or Bold or Bad Bytch?

This chick right here is no joke......I love these boots and not because Beyonce is wearing them I could care less but because they look sick.  Everyone is giving her a hard time for wearing high heels while pregnant...but most celebs do; so who cares.

How in the world am I just seeing these? This is what happens when I slack off with my blogging!!! Loving big time these Booties by talented celeb wardrobe stylists now turned designer Rachel Zoe.

Mugler Ankle Boot

This bootie is definitely not for the faint at heart or those not extremely comfortable walking in heels. This is not the most practical fall boot, but who needs practicality in fashion! The 'Mugler' with it's ubber high and curved angular heel is one of the latest crazes among celebs like Lady Gaga (Gaga had been rocking them for awhile now), Beyonce, and Rihanna. It's definitely not for everyone but is definitely an attention grabber. What do you guys think?

House of Harlow Neena Velvet Booties

I'm really digging the chic military vibe I'm getting form these Harlow of Harlow booties.  I wouldn't knock over an old lady in the store for them but they are a nice pair of reasonably priced versatile fall black booties that can transition easily from Day to Night.

Ruthie Davis Fall 2011 Collection

Last summer I visited the Ruthie Davis exhibit at the New Britain Museum of American Art located in New Britain, CT.  Not only was it fitting that her shoes be displayed with other great works of art, but, to see them first hand was truly inspiring.  Don't get me wrong I've seen and worn great shoes, but what was was inspiring about viewing Ruthie's shoes was knowing she grew up 15mins from where I live now in that same small Connecticut town of New Britain.  If you know anything about CT you know it's not exactly on the map for being a fashion metropolis, not that there isn't great talent here, it's just often overlooked.  I hope to meet Ruthie one day, but until then I'll always remember that "Sometimes you have to step out to step up!" and why not do it in a pair of 6" stilettos?

United Nude 'Falcon' Boots

YAY!!! I don't know about you guys but Fall has always been my favorite season...I love the warm colors, boots, layers, heavy scarves, gloves, and coats.  So I went browsing for some funky fall boots and I came across these beauties by the architectural footwear brand United Nude.  In their A/W 2011 collection the co-founders architect Rem D Koolhaas and shoemaker Galahad Clark present the Falcon boots.  The boots come in 3 colors black (my fav), brown multi, and black/white multi in both open and closed toe variations.  I believe the true appeal of these boots will best be seen in motion as the layering of the seemingly light fringes will probably look great when walking.

Kandee Shoes NYC Launch Party - August 2, 2011

Sorry guys it's been such a hectic week: I feel like I haven't blogged in forever!!!  One of the things keeping me busy was attending the U.S. launch of Kandee Shoes (the latest rage out of the UK) at the London Candy Company (94th & Lexington) this past week in New York.

At the event I had the chance to meet the young talented and oh so adorable designer / creator of Kandee Shoes himself Josh Wayman.  Also in attendance were 21 pieces of Josh's 2011 A/W collection that were 1.5 years in the making; set to be available for worldwide purchase next week (8/11/2011) on www.kandeeshoes.com or www.kandeeshoes.co.uk.  You can also find Kandee Shoes on facebook.com/Kandeeshoes and Twitter @KandeeShoes.  Kandee Shoes are made with great quality yet are truly affordable to the every day fashionista.  A little birdie even told me that Josh may be coming out with a handbag collection soon as well.

The collection was filled with spikes, studs, glitter, and animal print; basically everything a woman needs to morph into her inner Shoe Bytch. Though all the shoes haven't been officially named yet we can look forward to yummy candy themed names inspired by tastes, smells, and even candy wrappers from Josh's childhood.

I took pics, chatted, and got a wee bit tipsy on what had to be two swallows of my first taste of Gin *note to self NEVER drink Gin again and eat before you go out silly girl*! So enjoy the pics and share your thoughts.
