Somaya Reece Live Performance 8/4/2011 (NYC)

This past Thursday I had the pleasure of watching up and coming artist Somaya 'Boss' Reece perform during a live taping of the hit VH1 reality series Love & Hip-Hop.  Also in attendance to show support were her fellow cast mates, Olivia Longott (R&B songstress formerly of G-Unit), Emily Bustamante (stylist and girlfriend to rapper Fabolous), and Chrissy Lampkin (fiance to rapper Jim Jones), as well as, fellow VH1 pals Tionna Smalls (What Chilli Wants) and Meeka Claxton (Basketball Wives 3).

Everyone was lovely and exhibited a level of class and grace that unfortunately isn't always depicted on TV (I wonder if VH1 has some funny editing going on....hmmmm). Nevertheless, Somaya, Tionna, Meeka, and Chrissy were especially friendly and showed no signs of the 'Diva' attitude some would have you think.

Somaya changed twice during her performance first appearing in a custom Jovani Couture short sheer sequenced  dress with custom Loud nude heels (pics below).  Then she appeared in a black on black edgy and rocker style two-piece ensemble.  Somaya and her stylist (Ricky Trendy Da'Vista) showed that Boss Bitches can be strong and still feminine.

Whenever there is me, a camera, and hot shoes around you know Shoe Stalking occurred. Below are some pics from the event....don't forget to peep the shoes!  Enjoy and share your thoughts.

LAST but certainly not least check out what had to be the baddest pair of shoes of the night worn by the designer herself.

The shoes inspired by Jen-le - The line Spiked Intuition - The designer Ashlei Banks
(Educate yourself about her you'll be hearing more soon).
